1. We need you for outreach and mobilization!

Sunday, September 19, Sanctuary Lobby after worship

If you haven’t had a chance to meet Kristy Elmore, Director of Mobilization and Mission Partners, please stop by the Outreach table set up in the Sanctuary lobby after worship. There are so many missional opportunities to help those around us, and Kristy has information on how you can serve to make Jesus visible by getting involved with:

  • Paul Revere Beautification Project
  • Bless A Teacher
  • Disaster Relief Team
  • Houston Welcomes Refugees

2. Blood Drive on Saturday, September 25

Saturday, September 25, 9:00-1:30 p.m., Massey-Tucker Hall A,B, & C

Give the gift of life! Every donor signed up is three potential lives saved! September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month so everyone who donates will be supporting families and children impacted by cancer. All donors will be receiving a pair of “Sock it to Cancer” socks as a thank you. Donors can sign up HERE.

3. Sacraments & Sundaes

Sunday, September 26, 12:15-1:30 p.m., in the Massey-Tucker B

All kids in Kindergarten - 5th Grade, as well as their siblings and parents, are invited to join us for lunch and dessert as we learn about worship, baptism, and communion. We’ll look at what a sacrament is, the two sacraments celebrated in the Presbyterian faith, and how they help us worship God. Afterwards, we’ll celebrate with ice cream sundaes! Click HERE to register. Childcare will be available for children birth—preschool by emailing Julie Clark at jclark@gpch.org.
